Reminder that this Friday, March 21st is the Annual 3x3 Basketball Tournament Fundraiser! Teams need to be registered by NOON ON FRIDAY: https://fremont6wy.infinitecampus.org/campus/store/windriver/school-store/5/2/products
A slight change to the event. There will be concessions available for purchase, rather than the typical BBQ dinner. Please see Ms. Cottrill for additional questions. Hope to see everyone there!

This week is Poison Prevention Week.
National Poison Prevention Week is the third full week in March and is dedicated to raising awareness and educating the public about the dangers of poisoning. Please read through this service annoucement from the Nebrasha Poison Center to learn how to keep yourself and others safe. You can also find this annoucenment on our Health Services Page.

On March 13th (day before Pi day), Ms. Cottrill's Algebra 1 and Geometry classes were discovering the mathematical number 'Pi'. Pi is commonly known as 3.1415... but is represented as a symbol due to being an irrational number. Pi is calculated by dividing the circumference of a circle by the diameter. Students were using string and rulers to measure the circumference and diameter of various round objects, aiming to get an average ratio as close to 3.1415... as possible. The student with the closest average for Pi was Rickele, coming out with 3.168502... The classes also enjoyed eating some pie!

We are 1 week away from the 2025 3x3 Basketball Tournament for our Senior Class Fundraiser! Don't forget to register online! We will not accept cash registration payments the day of the tournament.

Third grade has been learning about agriculture in Wyoming with a focus on being a good steward of Wyoming. They have worked through simulations themselves of the challenges that ranchers face. We also had Mr. and Mrs. McCann and Mr. and Mrs. Ingalls visit at presenters to explain their agricultural lifestyle. Then we took a trip out to Ingalls' ranch to see all of the things we have learned about firsthand.
BIG thank you to both of these families for sharing your knowledge, ideas, and skills with us!

Fun things are happening in 4th Grade!
Fourth grade has started incorporating "Book Club" into our daily instruction. Students work together in groups to read a text and practice grade level reading and comprehension skills they learn as a class. 4th grade started putting this to extra practice with a "March Book Madness" competition! Each group has chose a book that they are excited to read. When students complete their book they will then have to create a 3 minute movie trailer for their book. Each book will move to the next round based on votes casted by the 3rd and 5th grade students. Ms. Griebel and Mrs. Cuttlers are very excited for this new learning experience.
What book do you want to win?
