Attached is the Middle School Boys Basketball Conference Bracket! All games will be played at the Arapahoe School new gym beginning on Thursday, February 20th at 4pm. Friday's games will begin at 2pm. Just a reminder, there will be admissions ($3 for adults, $2 for students). Good luck!

It's Senior night for the High School Wrestling team against the Lander Valley Tigers. Senior recognition starts at 5:30 p.m. with wrestling following up at 6:00 p.m.

Wind River High School Wrestling Seniors surprised their beloved staff members at school by giving their "singlet" to someone that has made a significant impact in their lives. We have an amazing faculty at Wind River and our seniors want to honor them in order to thank them for the impact that they have made on their lives. It's never about "I" at Wind River, it's about "WE!"

Fish Update! Our guests are now entering the fry stage, so they are swimming around. We have started feeding them and will release them into our tank this week...no more egg basket. Pictured below are some of the daily observers our fish get. On a side note, we now have a name for our fish (all of the fish will have one name!). Our students voted and GEORGE was the winner, with SUSHI coming in a very close second! By the way, if you want to meet George, feel free to come by the art room any time!

The Fourth Annual 3x3 Basketball Tournament Fundraiser is scheduled for March 21st, 2025, at 5pm. Use the link to register, or scan the QR code. Seventh grade students practiced one of the 7 Mindset principles, "Live to Give", by giving kindness to Wind River staff members. Students gave staff members "Heart Attacks", decorating their doors with words of kindness and hearts.

Week 4 Fish-date! Our visitors have all arrived, 157 rainbow trout sac-fry (at least that is what we counted!). They are doing well and using up their yolk-sac to grow. In about 1 month they should start swimming up to the top to feed and then we can move them out of the egg basket and into the new 55 gallon home!

The Wind River Cougars traveled to Lander for a wrestling tournament this past weekend. The tournament hosted 27 teams in total with great competition for both the boys and girls teams. The Lady Cougars were able to place 4th in the tournament as a team!
