
Happy Native American Heritage Day!
Yesterday, youth mentors from White Buffalo Prevention showed students how to set up a teepee and told the students some stories. This was a great learning experience for all!

Today at school we are celebrating Native American Day. In recognition of the North American Indian, the second Friday in May is designated as "Native American Day" per Wyoming HB0094.

The Parent Dance will follow the Grand March.

Vitalant will be visiting our school again this year for those of you interested in donating blood. They will be here on Thursday, May 8th from 12pm-3pm in the Boardroom (next to daycare).
You must be 18 years or older to donate without parental consent. Individuals 16 or 17 years old may donate with parental consent. A parental consent form may be picked up at the MSHS office, or from Ms. Cottrill, which must be signed and brought to your appointment in order to donate.

Wind River School had several top 10 place finishers at the Annual CWC Math Competition. Congratulations to Zoey Klein for placing 4th in the 7th grade division, Ana Adams for placing 9th in the 7th grade division, and Hirsch Zickefoose for placing 10th in the 9th/10th grade division! Additionally, congratulations to Wind River High School for placing 2nd in the team competition!

The MS Track Meet in Dubois this Thursday has been CANCELED due to weather!

Please join us for our Title VI Public Hearing on Wednesday April, 16th at 6:00 PM in the High School Student Center. This is for families of Native American students, teachers, tribal representatives, and secondary students. The Title VI grant helps support Native American students in school. We will review the initial allocation and objectives and services of the project.
