10/2: Cowboys vs. Aliens (dress up as a cowboy or an alien)
10/3: Duo Day (dress up as your favorite space duo)
10/4: Space Jam (wear your favorite jersey)
10/5: Purple Day (wear your cougar gear)

Alan Sinner Photography will be taking HS/MS Volleyball and Cross Country photos tomorrow, September 13th. HS/MS Football pictures will be taken on September 27th. Coaches gave out picture packets, if your student is missing one please let them know!
This weekend our Varsity and JV1 team traveled to Star Valley for a tournament that involved playing bigger schools and facing some amazing competition. This week's volleyball highlight goes to Varsity player, Karina Fredrick and JV player, Ashlynne Olson. Coach Remacle and Coach Griebel wanted to recognize these two athletes for their outstanding serving performance throughout the tournament. Karina provided consistency and accuracy with her spot serving, running up points for the varsity team and Ashlynne had several runs with her fast, strong serve for the JV team. Catch the Lady Cougars for their first home matches on Friday against Shoshoni at 5:00 pm and Saturday against Greybull at 11:00 am. Help us fill the gym and support our athletes! Go Cougars!

Good luck to our high school rodeo athletes who will start their fall season this Saturday in Riverton! Rodeo starts at 10:00 Saturday with a rough stock performance at 7:00pm that will include goats, then the performance continues Sunday at 9:00am. Good luck to Grace, Aidan, Faye, Aislynn, and Eion!

This past weekend Wind River hosted a volleyball tournament. Thank you to all of the families who made this possible!
The JV team pictured here is our volleyball highlight of the week! Throughout the tournament, they continued to improve and learn how to play together on the court. They came out of the tournament with more wins than losses, but the real highlight is that in one of the matches, they had a set with 100% serving average. Coach Remacle and Coach Griebel wanted to recognize that every athlete on this team didn't miss any serves during that set. Way to go, Lady Cougars!
