Wind River High School Volleyball Team hosted a youth camp for K - 3rd graders this week. The young players learned the fundamentals of passing and the overhand serve. They even learned a few of the high school's favorite cheers! Thank you for sharing your kids with us!

Wind River students are invited to wear their regalia and join in the dancing tomorrow at 2:30 pm during our Native American Culture Celebration.

The road to the elementary school will be closed from 11:00 AM to 8:00 PM, May 10th.
To access the elementary please enter though the high school parking lot.

5th grade Wind River Elementary School students had the opportunity to learn about Japan from Yuki Ayukawa, the Japan Outreach Coordinator at UW. They practiced writing in calligraphy.

High School students:
8:00 AM Meet on the front lawn to learn how to set up a teepee
8:30 AM to 10:30 AM--Go through six 20 minute station rotations
Middle School
10:30 AM to 12:30 PM--go through the six 20 minute station rotations.
They will have a slightly later lunch. Lunch is stew and potato salad with frybread.
Elementary School
1:00 PM to 2:30 PM--go through six 15 minute station rotations
ALL STUDENTS
2:30 PM to 3:00 PM--dancing on the front lawn
3:00 PM to 3:15 PM--take down teepee

Wind River Elementary had a SMASHING time celebrating their American Heart Association finale. Students raised money from family, friends, and local businesses to have a chance to smash eggs over the top of Mr. Hunter or Ms. Griebel. Thank you all for donating to the cause.







The drama class gave 2 great performances of "How to Host a Murder Mystery Dinner Party" on Thursday and Friday nights.

Multicultural Club members and friends served an Italian dinner to the Dinner Theater guests on Thursday and Friday nights.

Wind River High School Student of the Week
Senior JayCee Herbert participates in football, basketball and track. He is on the honor roll, is on the Student Council, and is a member of National Honor Society. He was All State in football and basketball and was a state champion in track. After graduation he plans to run collegiate track while pursuing a degree in sports medicine.
JayCee is an outstanding student and person. He is a very hard worker in his classes as well as on the field, court and track! JayCee leads each day in the school with a positive attitude and a contagious smile. He is always very respectful and holds a high level of integrity in all that he does. It is truly a joy to have JayCee in our school!
Outside of school he enjoys hunting, fishing, and spending time with family and friends.
