Wind River High School is hosting a parent meeting. Information will be shared about graduation, scholarships, FAFSA, internships and more! Hattie Penny will be available to help parents create FAFSA ID's.

The Youth Volleyball game on September 26th against St Stephens has been canceled. Middle School will still be playing here at Wind River at 5pm on the 26th.
There has been a game change to the MS football schedule! Thursday, September 19th will be a HOME game against Arapahoe starting at 4pm.
Thursday, September 5th there is a parents meeting for those with students in grades 9th-11th. The meeting is at 6:00 PM in the student center. Hope to see you there!

Attention Wind River Seniors!!
All seniors will receive a banner that will be hung in the gym throughout the year. These pictures will be taken tomorrow at 1pm during Flex period. Please dress accordingly with any jersey's/club gear that you would like included. For more information, contact Mr. Harrison at the MSHS office.
Free Developmental Screenings will be held at the Wind River Elementary School this Thursday, August 29th from 9 am to 3 pm. Walk-ins are welcome!
Reminder: School Pictures at Wind River Elementary and Crowheart School will be taken on Tuesday, Aug. 27th; and the MS/HS will have pictures taken on Wednesday, Aug. 28th.

Attention MS & HS Cross Country athletes and guardians: The Kelly Walsh/Casper Mountain meet on August 30th has been CANCELED! MS will only be running at Ft Washakie on August 29th. HS will be traveling to Rock Springs on August 30th (course opens at 8am, start time is 9am). Good luck Cougars!
Attention all HS volleyball and football parents! Wind River HS is implementing the Sway Baseline Concussion Test. The purpose of the Sway Baseline Concussion Test is to give us baseline data for each student athlete to help us determine if there may be a possible concussion. Be sure to download the Sway App (on your athletes cell phone, we will have ipads avaibale if an athlete does not have a phone), either enter the code or scan the QR code provided by your athletes coach (also included in the photo below), enter your information, and complete the Hardware Verification. The test will be completed, using athletes cell phones or a school ipad, on Monday August 26th during FLEX period at the high school. If you have any questions please contact Mr. Harrison in the MSHS office.
Picture Day is next week, so watch for photo packets going home with your student. Photos at Wind River Elementary and Crowheart School will be taken on Tuesday, Aug. 27th; and the MS/HS will have pictures taken on Wednesday, Aug. 28th. If you do not receive a packet contact your school office.
We are back to school next Monday Aug. 19th. Be sure to familiarize yourself with our school policies.

Congratulations to Amanda Jenkins on her selection as Wind River High School's Pacesetter Award recipient for the 2023-2024 school year! Amanda will begin school at Northwest College this Fall where she will play for the Trappers' basketball team.
