In celebration of Native American Day, Stormy Friday from the Wind River Tribal Buffalo Initiative came to Wind River Elementary and shared the many ways the buffalo were used to sustain indigenous American people. From providing the basics of food, clothing, and shelter to providing tools, decorations, soap, and toys, the buffalo were essential to the survival and lifestyle of the Native Americans who lived on the plains. Thank you for spending the day with us Stormy!
