Fremont County School District #6 considers school safety of the utmost importance. Our schools take part in multiple programs that instill the value and beliefs that help keep our student population safe.
Program offered:
Our school educates students and staff on the active intruder method so that they are prepared in the event of an active intruder emergency.
Wind River High Schools offers a one semester “Law Enforcement” class that provides students with information about careers in law enforcement and gives them a taste of what it is like to be a law enforcement officer. Student also participate in community service activities such as litter pick up and painting crosswalks.
Students can report anything that conerns or threatens them, their friends and/or family through a confidential website, Safe2Tell Wyoming.
SAFE2TELL Wyoming is for YOU to report any threatening behavior that affects you, your friends, your family, or your community. Speak up when a friend needs help!

False reports and blatant misuse of the Safe2Tell WY resource will be investigated.
Students can use Safe2Tell Wyoming to report: bullying, stealing, threats, fights, drugs, alcohol, weapons, sexual misconduct, harassment, stalking, dating violence, cutting, suicidal behaviors or any other violent or dangerous situations that threaten their safety or the safety of others. It is for the purpose of prevention and intervention, to help keep students safe and healthy.
